Possibly the easiest way is to buy Oil ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds). ETFs are traded just like shares, through your broker or dealing platform.
Ones that spring to mind are issued by ETF Securities.
They are BRNT (Brent Oil) and CRUD (West Texas Intermediate).
There is also a short oil ETF called SOIL.
An oil ETF will track the price of oil off the back of the appropriate oil future.
