I have 780 shares in a company called Quantica. The shares were priced at 0.769 at that time. Certificate is dated 31/03/00.

Quantica was taken over by Berkely Scott Group for 47.5p per share sometime in 2007.
You may be a dissenting shareholder in Quantica and entitled to the cash from the offer.
You could try contacting Berkeley Scott or each of the three main shares registrars: Capita, Equiniti or Computershare.
By all means come back to Shareworld if you cannot get anywhere with these suggestions.
